A Marvel Fanboy
007 is a big name in China, at least 50M I would say. Even Cold War is going to make 40M+.Words of mouth sometimes won't affect B.O. of a movie. We have plenty of crap movies winning big. You know that.....Real chanlenge about Skyfall in China is that it doesnot enough actions if reviews are saying the truth. GA Chinese wont buy an action movie without satisfying action scenes.People have waited for it so long, and the reviews are great, but after all the oversea hype, audience in China just find out it is a drama centered fake action 007 flick. Thus they will feel disappointed, which turns into meh wom.
A Marvel Fanboy
Simply words: a movie will disappoint if it cannot live up to the hype. It is not all about how good it is. And I am afraid that Skyfall is not the type of action movie that GA Chinese audience will like as much as audience in other countries, at least from hundreds Chinese reviews for it. bballman24
All the action scenes were satisfying and relevant to the plot. Not sure if you can ask for more.Unless you want transformer type of loud action set pieces.

Hatebox
The first half of Casino Royale is almost non-stop action. Then there's very little in the second half until the finale.Skyfall has a lot of action but it's more evenly spaced out, and a longer movie to boot. I can only guess that the people who think there isn't much action in Skyfall were blindsided by the slower pace of the dialogue scenes. And if that's considered a negative then God help us. vc2002
MI4 made $100m in China. I dont think this will have problem of making half of that. 007 is well-known brand in China.
Rudolf
in Uk, Germany and France Skyfall still looks to more than double QoS gross this weekendin Russia it should make about 7 times QoS (after a slow start) Edited November 16, 2012 by Rudolf
Crusader
LOL this movie has 10 times the action of stuff like TF and MI4 See, here the action is integral to the story and therefore way more intense
A Marvel Fanboy
I read boring and drama centered reviews for this. And relatively weak performance in Asia territories says all.Given Hobbit with Skyfall, 50M is almost impossible as far as I can see. keysersoze123
Action in skyfall is just out of the world. Opening action sequence is as good as it gets. Its true that movie really slows down between the action scenes. But overall pacing is not that much of an issue. It will do well in china.
