MovieMan89
Make fun of me if you want but I thoroughly enjoyed Mirror Mirror for what it was: a fun and funny film for the whole family with a nice visual flair. Movie had some of the most god awful trailers I've ever seen in my life though and I still think the majority of people made up their minds about the movie long before they saw it because of that. MovieMan89
Madagascar 3 Men in Black 3 Crazy Stupid Love Those are great recent examples for me as well. I thought CSL's trailers were pretty funny though, just like the movie.
AniNate
CSL just looked like a bland Nancy Meyers romcom to me.

Webslinger
Bridge to Terabithia. Granted, it's a lot easier to sell something as straight fantasy than as a talky kids drama with a few fantasy scenes, but I was sure they'd completely missed the point of the book after I saw the trailer. Luckily, that was just Disney's meddling, and the movie itself ended up being as poignant as its source material.
Jack Nevada
The trailer to Anchorman is pretty mediocre. Based on that trailer I never would have thought it would turn out to be my all time favorite movie
Webslinger
I thought the trailer for Anchorman was effective. It definitely made me want to see the movie back in 2004.
