Harpospoke
Took up watching this again. (season 3) It's definitely improved a lot. I really like almost all the characters and the overall storyline is interesting. Still have to put up with the irritating computer hacker/rebel Skye character who I can't forget has no business being on the team in the first place and seems to exist just to inject cheesy angst drama into the show. It's so refreshing when she is not in a scene challenging Coulson on something. Came real close to turning it off during ep 3 when she just had to call a character who they were tracking and blow the secret that they were tracking him. One of the other characters called her on that and I actually said "Thank you!" out loud. Later that character calls them for help and of course she insists that she has to go "Because he won't talk to anyone but me". Yeah...he just called SHIELD for help...I think he'll talk to anyone. Then it tripped over into teen angst writing as her and said imperiled character had to get into a long drama conversation while there were dangerous people walking around who were looking for him....instead of getting the hell out of there as fast as they could. Ugh....so painful to watch. They could improve the series 1000% by killing her off. Every other character is better by a mile...and yet they feel a weird compulsion to center everything around her....
DeeCee
After season 1 linked in with TWS and season 2 lead into AoU it doesn't look like this season has as strong a link with Civil War.
