Flopped Actors/Actresses Thread

Recommended Posts

This thread is really interesting because it shows that while there are a lot of candidates to make it in Hollywood, very few actually make it big or have longevity.

Sorry to turn every thread into a Jlaw's thread but it also shows what a freak of nature her carreer has been.

She has accomplsished at 22 and half what hundreds (thousands) of actresses only dream of ... like all the actresses listed  on this topic

She already has financial security, critical success and box office hits,an Oscar and great directors who want to work with her.

Her Oscar night was a fairy tale you ll tell about  to your grand children.

kristanna Loken

Leelee Sobrieski

Clair Forlani

Freddie Prinze Jr

Rachael Leigh Cook

Oh boy, how many of them are flipping burgers right now, so much it girls that lasted 18 months.

Hollywood is BRUTAL, even more so for actresses who have to fight against time.

Interesting because it shows, paradoxically, you just can't have a relevant career in shallow Hollywood if you rely solely on your good looks. You definetely got to be smarter too in your career choices to build the right connections.

I just hope jlaw is able to have longevity in her career

She's got a great personality, she's loved, she's talented, she's fairly hot and has a lot of big projects coming up. I fail to see how she wont have, unless she gets rich and decides to take a back seat.

one actor that kind of unfortunately  flopped and I am not sure why. Michael Biehn. This guy should have been a star. What the hell happened

Cameron chose Stephen Lang over him to star in Avatar.

(Lang didn't ride Avatar's coattails long though starring in that awful Conan remake)

The young cast of American Beauty are enormous flops. So are American Pie peepz.

Kate Bosworth, Brendan Routh, Camilla Belle and what`s-his-face who starred with her in that awful mamooth movie, everyone from Cloverfield.

That flopped actor is married to the girl that starred in John Carter. LMAO. A flopped couple.

Amanda Peet. Starred in the whole nine yards (naked) and 2012 but then nothing happened. She's still second fodder actress.

Agreed, Amanda Peet is a  poster for flop. Second fodder if there was ever one.

Yeah it was weird. He was in a bunch of Cameron films, then Tombstone, then The Rock, then...nothing really. Don't know why he dropped off like that.

You can't say the whole cast Aniston is definitely not a flop neither is cox. Rest of them I could by

LOL, Aniston is the definition of flop. They tried to make her happen for the longest time and she simply did not.

And Cox? She's done what exactly? Scream, 50 years ago?
