I would say that over $100m is quite popular, something that SW7 already did. It is not a record figure, but a quite decent one. Maybe we should not expect the same records for the same films in different markets. Thoughts on this? Honestly both Douban and Gewara are fan-driven sites. Star Wars doesn't have a big fanbase in China hence the lack of interest in those sites. You can't find objective opinions from non-biased people from those sites. Douban especially is a mess and will downvote most local films even before release.
