Yes so a few of these will underwhelm.  I have my bets on Lost in Hong Kong...that said everyone thought Jiang Wen was a sure bet too this time last year!

 

Not familiar with some of the other titles here.  Speaking of The Crossing...where's the sequel???

Jiang Wen said himself that GWTB would gross 2B.  Xu Zheng did not say anything about LiHK's box office expects. it's Enlight who do this after seeing FF7's box office boom. i feel they just want to comfort local movies despite it's dominated by imports (FF7 2.3B Vs LiT 1.2B). But it's the crazy box office grow, so it's unable to do right prediction.

Lost on Journey (2010) gross Yuan47M

LiT (2012) gross Y1.2B

LiHK (2015) ? Consider it's just the low budget comedy how much it can gross? Imports...superhero blockbuster, super big budget. i think it's hard to find good script like LiT but if LiHK can do that it would be the greatest movie (LiT did it already with budget less than $3M). its first trailer is   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FR8hI_ZxFG8

 

The Ghouls (12.18) is the last project of Mongolian director Wuershan after Painted Skin 2 (2012). we will see Chen Kun, Shu Qi, Huang Bo & Angelababy. Huang Bo name biggest box office actor. i hope he still keep it through this movie. 

 

Hollywood Adventures (6.26) seem to break out too since its first trailer is surprised. 

 

The crossing 2 was edited by director Tsu Hark, maybe he can save its box office, probably release in July.

Nobody's expecting 68M+ OD but it better do 25-30M. 6-day opening of 150-160M.

AOU should make as much as, or atleast come close to, FF7's first monday (also its second day). If it does pass it, 250m would pretty much be a lock for it unless it collapses or has very unexpected drops.
