scary drop for La La Land.

If it did not have sneak previews or open on Valentine's... I think we will be looking at less than 150m yuan total to be honest.

Sneak previews and Vday bump gave it a chance of cracking 200 - 250m yuan.

I think there’s something wrong with LLL Maoyan score. It doesn’t make sense that its score can reach 8.7/10.

    Score Proportion Max Min
    9&10 59.3% 5.93 5.337
    7&8 21.0% 1.68 1.47
    5&6 8.1% 0.486 0.405
    3&4 2.4% 0.096 0.072
    1&2 9.1% 0.182 0.091
      Total =  8.374 7.375

It shouldn’t be higher than 8.4/10.

Probably a algoritem that let some vote weight for more then other, like the 1-2 score vote won't get counted as bad.

When I went to the theaters in December I told my friend after seeing the xXx trailer: Just you watch, this will explode in China. Got everything they love.

Well, I was right.

Is the movie any good though? I mean, mainly the action scenes?

No. Most audience enjoy this kind of incredible action scenes and gorgeous CGI, even if they know that is unreasonable, or the CGI looks too fake.

SW vintage style of visual effect makes them feel Disney wasted too much money because it doesn't look gorgeous. They can’t understand where the money goes.
