Because I am a pessimist and I am just a pessimist so I am expecting the worst lol

But are you a pessimist? Also, $40-42m Sat is still great and $137-140m ow (well $110-115m ow really ;) ) is excellent...twilight was never going to gain (or lose) fans and is so polarizing it was never going to benefit from usual finale factor as it's pretty much loathed outside of its fan base (though a huge fan base at that).

It seems logical, that numbers went down after early estimates.Fridays matinees seemed deflated (the low early numbers indicate that) , probably bacause of the early screenings on thursday and now saturday seemed bigger in matinees but couldn't hold that pace with evening shows, as those were very strong.

Never wrong oh boy don't say that lol, think going to have to lower BD2 a little, but sfall stays on high side,

Sat

BD2 41-42m, Sfall 18, Linc 8.5, WIR 8.8, flt 4, Argo 1.9, tak2 1,PP 580k, HCTB 540K, sess 420k

Great numbers overall.

BD2 could still end up around 140. Skyfall is definately holding its own.

At least WiR is doing a little better. 4.4(Fri), 8.8(Sat), 6.1(Sun) 19.3 (-42%) 122 cumulative. Weekly drops are still steeper and was thinking that this weekends hold would be decent considering the good TC drop but 200 now seems out of reach. Still think it'll do 175+.

SUNDAY 6:45 AM, 10TH UPDATE: If you went to your local multiplex this weekend, you know how crowded it was: overall moviegoing was an impressive $245M, or +14% from last year. The main reason is that its the Twilight Saga’s swan song (until the inevitable reboot). But the franchise’s $2.5 billion box office may even climb to $3B all in judging by this weekend’s big bite of global theatrical grosses. The worldwide total for Summit Entertainment’s Breaking Dawn Part 2 was already $162.2M through Friday - and should hit $275+ global through Sunday. Summit has not yet released official domestic numbers for this finale. But my sources put them at an estimated $27M Sunday, $42.8M Saturday and $72.8M Friday (including Thursday 10 PM/Friday midnight shows). The latter represents the 6th highest opening day in history right behind the Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part One‘s $71.6M, andNew Moon‘s $72.7M. Breaking Dawn Part 2 should total $141+M for its debut weekend in 4,070 North American

theaters. It’s most likely that Breaking Dawn Part 2 beat the $138.1M set by Part 1 in 2011. But it’s still a squeaker if it beat New Moon‘s franchise first-weekend record of $142.8M set in 2009.
