Jake Gittes
Just when I started thinking there's no way The Hobbit misses $300m now. Also, Oscar noms apparently had zero effect on Les Mis and Django. Worse drops than last weekend. Lincoln's unstoppable, though.
fishstick
I think that Nikki underestimates as usual but ZDT is definitely a huge attraction so it had to hurt some movies.

Worse drops than last weekend. Lincoln's unstoppable, though.Les Mis and Django are fighting off ZDT. Theer are just too many Oscar nominated movies at the same time. It was different when there were only 5 nomines. I hope they go back to 5 because the 10 nominees (or around that number) rule was supposed to help blockbusters get in and so far all franchise movies got shafted. So there`s no point to continue with the practice when 5% rule clearly prevents some types of movies get in.
Krissykins
Weinstein's should have expanded SLP earlier, it's just leaked online. It'll still do well though.
Fullbuster
Hobbit won't reach $300m it's so obvious now.Django Unchained is weakening
keysersoze123
Is alfred around. he might provide some perspective into friday increases. Nikki tends to underestimate holdover increases on friday and overestimate on saturday.

baumer
Every film weeks online now. Doesn't change the fact that people want to still go to the movies and see them.
Elessar
Another shitty Friday increase for HobbitAt least it didn't do worse than the competition this time. Edited January 12, 2013 by Elessar
keysersoze123
Django's friday increase especially looks unreal. I am sure studio estimates will be higher across the board for holdovers(except oscar baits which nikki could have overestimated).

fishstick
TH doesn`t deserve to pass FOTR. Mediocrity of the highest order. This time in 2016 when fanboys cool off and come to terms that TH trilogy was a cash grab they`ll admit it themselves.
baumer
I doubt estimates will come in a much higher than Nikki's. These are done at 7am. Her estimates are off when she gives them at 2AM
