Break out in hives means having an allergic skin reaction. Tele has already expressed his issues with the functionality of the spaceship design, so this is not surprising in the least. Thanks for that great article Trifle! Hope we start getting some reactions soon... and hope they're good reactions. There have been some and they were good, but there isn't much yet. 17 hours ago, JennaJ said: From the buzz thread: Nice! 14 hours ago, Hatebox said: Still unclear about why the lavish bar exists: is the ship designed to be lived on rather than merely be a mode of transport? You got the answer on this, but as they go to real time in the solar system in a number of sci fi books I have read (which postulate that you can only realistically travel in relativistic time outside a solar system) they wake up, and at that point it becomes a classic 'cruise' until they reach the planet. In any event they said in one article that they chose to not try to have a movie where you have to explain for half the movie how the future works. They said they took the cue from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy -- they wanted the issues they explore to be in a space venue but to be understandable in today's terms. 4 hours ago, The Futurist said: I liked what she wore at the Vanity Fair screening better..... JennaJ
Chris was at GMA and had some nice words to say about Jen. They sound like they had a total blast working together. they also asked him about the cropped Instagram pictures. One thing I really liked was how excited the two hosts that saw the movie were about it. Either they are great actors or they actually really enjoyed it. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/chris-pratt-talks-holiday-shopping-movie-passengers-44032108#

A whole lot more than the trailer has come out at this point: and speaking of that clip, Passengers advanced to the next stage for VFX Oscar consideration.
