They need around $400 mio WW to break even considering that marketing + budget created $200 mio cost or something (someone on another thread explained). And it already tumbled to $33 mio OS without any competition and after opening almost everywhere. IM3 hits OS next week so, yeah, big drop ahead.

 

I am not sure what the marketing spend was, but it for sure needs between $350-$400WW to get into the black during the theatrical release. I have big hopes for China and Japan were Ghost Protocol killed it so I am optimistic. 

 

Edit: If it grosses just half of what GP made in Japan/China that would be over $85m alone.
