    Still, JC is a mighty big bomb. Considering its budget, it is a huge embarrassment for Disney. Luckily, they have a big slate ahead of them.

    I saw this years ago, but finally saw it on the big screen. This is the best movie ever made!

    I agree CF the book was boring, but I think it will actually lend itself to a more cinematic film than THG.

    Like CDs, digital will be the way to go. I mean, yes, CDs are still sold, but most people now get music off the Net. The same will happen with movies as time and better technologies come out.

    I never expected this to open big. It's target demo goes to the movies on weekends anyway.

    I'm pretty positive that most on here are underestimating TH. It's going to do big business.

    My guess is schools. March a lot of schools have spring break, and in April everyone is studying, finals, upcoming big projects, etc.

    For those saying that this April is going to suck, all I have to say is that most Aprils suck every year. Usually, April is a dumping ground month.

    I would much rather that an estimate underestimates a film rather than overestimates a film. It is better to be pleasantly surprised than to be left disappointed.

    Next weekend will be interesting. THG and Titanic can end up battling for first place. They might end up really close to each other.

    Yah, really...I don't know what it is about Baumer, but he keeps downplaying this film and comparing its run to Twilight all the time. Quite annoying.

    And, to think I was losing faith in my own club. Second weekend might after all become a reality. Still, it's too early to tell.

    Big openers drop on Tuesday. I believe even TDK dropped on Tues. Anyway, THG's drop is quite small, so I would say this is actually a good Tues number despite what others on these forums might think.
