After all that pre-release hype and buzz for Depp, Black Mass has had an underwhelming run overall. In contrast, The Intern is exceeding expectations and probably going to outgross it. Yikes for, The Walk , Joseph Gordon-Levitt just isnt a star. -
There is no way that Creed is going ti be a money-loser. I think that makes atleast 60-70m

Goosebumps is probably gonna make 50-55m, Pan around the same as well.I dont see either breaking out, or hurting HT2.

The Walk and Everest screwed each other by releasing so close to The Martian and other adult skewing titles. This IMAX talk is just noise.

It's currently scheduled to go against Screen Jem's 'When the Bough Breaks' both films are geared towards 25+ female crowd so I think this release date hurts both. They should put this in August, and take advantage of the fact that there are no films currently scheduled there for the female audience.

The budget was really big for this film, so i dont know if the studio is going to break even. Seeing as how the competition is fierce with Hateful Eight and SW, but it looks great.

That seems like another 30m+ opener; Washington, Pratt, Hawke + Fuqua is a winning combo.

Yeah September is still likely to be dominated by animation titles until a studio decides to take a risk with a bigger tentpole. Sniper is likely to hold that record for awhile.

Sony does really well in September. 5 of the top 10 openings.

Yes it has been a strange year for Bradley Cooper. I think it should be able to make atleast 15m though. Even The Counselor, with it's starry cast, did 16.9m in late October.

One of the more meh Bond theme songs, but there have been a few of them so whatever. Casino Royale and Skyfall had the best songs in the Craig era, unless Spectre knocks it out of the park then those films will be remembered as the best ones of the Craig era as well.

Reportedly 150m, not including P&A. This should do around 60-65m in the states,maybe more if its lucky. So once again depending on OS audiences to cover the budget.

Black mass is a pretty easy sell. I just don't think it was that good.
