Another big weekend I love it when the box office is interesting. And that Argo hold is incredible, the last time a film not in November or December increased was Shrek.
It's not like the 95 film was an example of stellar WOM. For the time, its legs were absolute rubbish. It's just lucky it had Stallone, otherwise it would've made even less especially OS.
I think it'll be like Japan, reaching a certain high point (say 170m) and plateauing for maybe a decade. Any significant admissions decrease won't happen for a long time.
The Possession increased on Saturday and if this is a good horror movie, then I don't see why Sinister shouldn't at least stay flat. It should end up over $20m in the end.
