Ferrell and Wahlberg made a great pair in The Other Guys. And the premise here sounds fine for a comedy but something feels off and a bit forced.
I still see it doing some Get Hard numbers.
It has a creepy premise but it looks like a bunch of other similar supernatural horror films. It could turn out good but being from the director of The Devil Inside doesn't sound promising.
Such a stupid movie
The girl with black hair is pretty much hot, though
Well at least the movie had one of the most hilariously bad lead performances ever. Keanu Reeves had to act as so-over-the-top-funny intentionaly.
You are right. I saw it a couple of weeks ago. Easily one of the best films of the year. Tense, suspenseful, beautifully shot, with three excellent performances. And with a lot of things to say about drug trafficing. Things that many people don't want to hear and movies usually don't want to show.
I completely agree with your review.
The premise is decent but the movie doesn't look as funny as it should. It's from the guy that made That's My Boy and Horrible Bosses 2 so that probably explains it.
They probably needed McKay directing it.
