It is very hard to make a good crime/drama film especially on gangsters. First turkey by Ben Affleck, the director. If he can't get it right then those who are trying to make similar films need to drop the idea. That Fonzo film by Trank starring Hardy is going to be grilled by critics and has zero boxoffice chances. After that film Trank will disappear into oblivion if he already hasn't after Fant4stic. My suggestion do a 1M-5M horror film blumhouse style as your next project.

This movie deserved a much better fate. It saddens me that it wasn't even considered for Oscars vfx. If garbage assshit bfg is in the running then why not this? Whoever is in charge of the marketing and distribution needs to drown in his own piss.

Lionsgate will be saved by this movie's BO. Hopefully, hacksaw ridge will also see some bump in the BO when oscar hopefuls are announced.

There is no such thing called film fans. Nowadays only franchise fans and disney fans exist.

I remember how the internet got behind it after the surprise comic con announcement in 2008 and were comparing it to Avatar. Some even said it would be a bigger hit than Avatar. Disney bought into that hype and marketed this like an event movie and in the process embarassed themselves. But they learnt a lesson and now you can see they are the king of hollywood.

The internet nerds/hardcore fanboys try to make it sound like it was a big hit, which it wasn't. It was a critical hit and thoroughly deserved to be one. I look at it the same way I look at Batman Begins, another movie that didn't do all that well considering the marketing, buzz and reviews, but it left an impression and then the sequel became an event. Maybe the next Mad Max will become a huge hit, but I kinda doubt it. It appeals to a certain audience and it is hard to maximize its appeal across all demographics in every country. Also, some A list actor in the movie has to bite the dust for it to overperform bigtime. That is something I don't wish to happen to any actor whether good or bad.

HahahahaHha Sony is trolling. Tbf, i have heard this has done well in all test screenings. It's just a fun popcorn movie with some good acting and thrilling scenes.

Mad Max did less than tron legacy both domestically and worldwide. It wasn't a boxoffice hit because the budget was 150M and had a hefty marketing campaign. For a movie that had so much buzz and positive reviews, it didn't set the boxoffice on fire. That is exactly what I am expecting from Blade Runner 2049.

I thought Force 2 was a pretty good movie and deserved a better fate at the boxoffice. Put one of the top5 stars in the movie, it would do minimum 80 crore in India.
