  3. if this is still open 1.He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother (Rambo III) 2.From Russia with Love (From Russia with Love) 3.New Divide – (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen)
  4. I'm not sure about it being the best trailer ever but I do want to see this movie now...
  5. So in the spirit of Halloween why not list off you're favorite films to the greatest Halloween franchise to you're least favorite, I'm curious to see what everyone thinks is the best and why? I'm sure were gonna see a lot of the Original Carpenter Masterpiece so list off the others in which u liked best to least.Halloween - It's what made Slasher films 9/10Halloween 2 - Great sequel and one of my favorites of the series 8/10Halloween 3: Season of the With - I Just didn't understand why this was necessary, it was dull, I hated the Characters, and Guys in black suits to replace Michael Meyers??? just wtf!!Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Meyers - most likely my second favorite of the series this one was a whole lot of fun with a nice twist. 8.0/10Halloween 5 - Half Decent, i actually wasn't crazy about this one, but I would try it again. 6.5/10Halloween The Curse of Michael Meyers - Decent fun,and did a great job, adding a different feel then its sequels. 6/10Halloween H20 - great cast. worthy sequel. 6.5/10Halloween Resurrection: started watching it, turned it off after Michael stabbed a boy with his own Video tripod.Halloween (( Rob Zombie Remake )) - I didn't re watch yet but I really like rob zombie and I remember liking this one a lot at the time.Halloween 2 ((Rzr)) - remember watching this once and remember begging myself to never put myself through that kind of torture again.
  6. I realize These are proberly the worst picks ever but hey w.e.Topher Grace or Joseph Gordon Levitt as The FlashDjimon Hounsou or Michael Fassbender as The Green lanternMatt Lauria or Chris Pine as the FlashChris Pine as AquamanMichael Ealy maybe as The Martian ManhunterAaron Eckhart or Michael Shannon as BatmanOlivia Wilde as Wonder Women?Henry Cavill as Superman most likely, I do think that Ryan Gosling could do a good job.
  7. both are good films and very different, I'm not gonna compare the two because there has already been enough of that abovebut lets talk about the strong points in them alright lets start with avatar, Avatar tried nothing more then to be exactly what it was and that's a good thing, all thought I wish they would have cleared a few things up, you can just say it's part of the fiction in the story. But Avatars most impressive moments is when it was showing off the beautiful visuals which we all know it does this a lot. I really don't think avatar is not gonna be remembered I mean in 30 years there is gonna be movies that have greater visuals but those movies will most definitely be inspired in someway or another by some of these great shots in the movie. I've only seen it twice once when it first came out and then once again almost a month ago now. So I've let go of the things bothering me and just try to enjoy it for what it is, I do understand that this is not the movie to be analyzing where Prometheus is much more fun to get into and talk about. where Avatar there isn't very much to be said. but still great visuals and storytelling with great camerawork really made this film what it is considered today. Now Prometheus, good film, a few problems but name me one Sci-fi movie there hasn't been? So gotta say it doesn't have the charm that avatar does but it's just not that kinda film, it's a more serious, mysterious and dark film which is much more interesting to be analyzed. And bringing the Alien world into it was a great idea which opens up idea's for interesting sequels, and clearly lots of discussion over the internet which is forming quite a following and making it one day anyways, a Cult film. a few things about the film you can say "Well that's just stupid" and I did to but it's not gonna ruin all the things I liked in it, and I liked the Story, I liked the Characters and I liked the development, where it goes and where it could go.good movies both approx 8/10 movies but very different, gl with the debate.
  8. One answer 4 me and you guys up top got it Spot on! sometimes I go on youtube and listen to the entire symphony while I'm on the internet or am gaming. imo the breaking of the fellowship is the best, and my favorite. When I listen to this it puts me in a state of peace like no other music can, and I'm not bragging but I am a huge fan of music. So thank you Howard Shore and most of all, because Howard Shore would have never had the opportunity if it wasn't for the Great Peter Jackson, Thank You Peter Jackson for making me feel the way I do when I watch your film's.
  9. just watched a really great film the other day called The Last House on the Left, imdb states it was Wes Craven's first English feature film. this movie really surprised me, not knowing anything much about the film I was blown away by the intensity and the realism of this. . whats great about it is that it doesn't try to constantly scare you with cheap scare tactics like in the Friday the 13th movies(nothing against). but this movies really makes you feel empathetic(did for me) in a way, I dont think kids or teenagers should watch this but I also think that about moonrise kingdom just because they wont interpret these films the way the should be.I had no idea they use to make movies like this, Anything similar or maybe you think I might like, im All Ears!
  10. paranormal activity was awful and I can't sit through another hour of that...
  11. I want something really scary to start me off this year, watched that monster squad movie it was nice but not really what im looking for, any suggestions?
  12. il have go to with Jurrasic Park. Avatar is a good movie, not great.
  13. I would like to say very rude things to you right now, but for your sake I won't...The Movie is fun, sure it starts off like any other horror movie and trys to make you think that it is, but it pays off. I found this very rewatchable and I've heard and seen this on many forums already too but yes the end did make me think of thirteen Ghosts but still very cool, Rewatched the ending serveral times now and I still love it, and yes thor's death was hilarious, and we all see it coming, which makes it even more great. and Marty had to live and im so glad it was him! if anyone else had written this film I think it proberly would have went pretty badly so Thumbs Way Up for an Entertainig and yet different Film. and yes the ending was excellent the last moments are breathless and you really don't know what to think on theese points because so much has happened you didnt expect, Fun, Funny, and Entertaining. 8/10
  14. So I thought This would be interesting enough to start a topic about which Franchise Is better and which Films did you like best.So on the one side there is and the otherShrek Ice AgeShrek 2 Ice Age 2: The MeltdownShrek 3 Ice Age: Dawn of the DinosaurShrek Forever After Ice Age 4: Continental DriftSo in my opinion the Ice Age Franchise and the Shrek Franchise have been some of the best the past 10 years or so, as far as animated franchises go, No doubt that Ice Age and Shrek are very Closely Rated most would proberly go with Shrek, and Shrek 2 I thought was Undoubtingly better then Ice Age 2. But the shrek 3 and 4 really lost me to the franchise, I've literally gave up hope and most likely would not be seeing 5 if they are making it. but the ice age on the other hand, Dawn of the Dino and Continental Drift were slightly above average films and Kept me entertainied through out. I found that Ice Age is a little more serious where the newer shrek films feel like they are only made for small children. but between the Original films Shrek and Ice age are both very good films but different making it hard for me to compare so il give them both an 8/10 but as far as the franchise goes My Vote goes to Ice Age for keeping my interest and for not dying out after the second film... if I knew how to make a poll I would have added that.
  15. this is my favourite Michael moore film and proberly his best, you really can't go wrong with a documentry set up like this, it's been so long since i've watched this,I do remember he makes serveral vital points that should be adressed even if his way is a little unorthodox, I think he still needs to be heard and the movie needs to be seen. definitely not a feel good movie, but it's meant to be serious and open your eyes to what's going on in america.
  16. Good Review Baumer! I Loved the performances in this film also. William H Macey, nervousness captured a very realistic personality, Frances McDormand was fantastic to watch like she always is, the story is nice just like you said it's different and I think that's what makes this film so special, it's not your average hollywood predictable film it's really something differnt completly. anyways since baumer said it best Im not gonna say nay more, OH! and Buscemi was excellent as well.
  17. not sure if this was said or not but you guys talking about hero reminded me of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
  18. K try reading again, I clearly stated that I didn't Understand what an A-list actor/actress meant, now that I know I can agree with you.thanks for clearing that up Barney Ross btw both imo are on the rise and what is this one great movie u speak of with Ryan Gosling because I know more, Drive, Lars and the real girl, half nelson which I loved! Blue Valentine which I recenltly seen that deserves a rewatch and a few more films one I have not seen is The notebook and his role in Crazy, Stupid, Love wasn't bad either he might not be an A-list Actor yet but im sure hes gonna get a huge break in a superhero movie or something big very soon which will move him closer to categorizing as an A-list actor. Now for Michael Fassbender, Amazing talent whose had some very big roles lately could be on the break as well, I've seen him in 4 movies now and he just keeps getting better, all though my favourite was him playing magneto, which was before prometheus which he gave a very believeable performace as a cyborg. Im sure there is a possibilty one day of him becoming an A-list Actor as well as ryan gosling, but you are right by saying that they are not yet A-list actors
  19. I didn't like Die Another Day, The song and the movie.
  20. Rewatched The Lord of the Rings Extended trilogy again... and I found that theese films just keep getting better and better with every viewing, the most beautiful films I have ever seen. so imo Fellowship is my favourite it moves at a decent pace, the most true to the books proberly and is not filled with senseless action, not saying that it was senseless action in The Return of the King, I love the way Peter Jackson shoots his action scenes, most likely my favourite style i've seen. but the fellowship didnt need it and pulls through and I think becomes the best of the trilogy by a tad. The next is return of the king for me, Really loved this film one of the greatest ending ever shot on camera, most people say it's too long but I beg to differ, I think it's done perfectly. im glad they didn't throw saruman in the ending like in the books but in the extended it does give us closure to what happens to him, again not truthful to the books but it would have ruined the ending if they did. just my opinion. The Two Towers was excellent too, all theese movies are so well done with a similar feel but still very different making any of theese films a great choice for a favourite. The Expendables 2 - Honestly not that good,I guess I was expecting too much. this is what I would call senseless action but still a bit of fun, Im not sure if I would watch this again, still debating which film I liked better 1 0r 2 I think I might like the first one better. but who knows maybe Im wrong and might give it another try sometime....Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - One the Best Animated FilmS EVER! just watching it so much fun and when it's not fun its truly terrifying, Do you remember when you were a kid watching that evil witch kick a bucket of water away from the skeleton reaching out for it.. Well I didn't but I can say that it's still a very frightening scene as well as many others, also adore the way it was shot, the songs are great, and it's just a whole lot of fun all the way through, The Dwarfs are amazingly entertaining, I mean who doesn't love dopey? Happy, doc, Grumpy! they definatly added quite a bit of comic relief to all the tention. If only they still made movies like this, but they don't. Classic imo and One of my favourite animated films ever. Btw I havean't watched since I was a kid, Snow white and the Huntsman which was a so-so movie made me wanna rewatch, But just like Peter Pan, and Robin Hood for me Disney has made the best films of theese classic stories.
  21. Michael fassbender and Ryan Gosling really? What does A-list refer to exactly? and Adam Sandler Lol come on..... I like his old films and him in it but does that make him an A-list actor? or is this just all opinions?
  22. so having a debate with someone, what do you guys think?Meet the Fockers or Little Fockers?
  23. I know this was forever ago but you havean't seen the 2 best imo. Rushmore I believe anyone could like this if they just give it a chance, I really think its Wes Anderson's best film, Jason Shwartzman was perfect for the part as an Odd teenage who has a crush on a teacher at his private school. SOO GOOOD!! and Bottle Rocket got Luke and Owen Wilson Famous. But as said before if you don't like his style and don't appreicate what he brings forth then you might not like Bottle Rocket or Rushmore either.Moonrise is excellent, my favourite film thus far this year. the acting, wes's direction, the way it's told... Timeless, I love it!! really makes you think it's a classic film don't it? but still very modern.
  24. The Matrix was such a great first viewing Imo. Inception too but I think The Matrix Grabs your attention and doesn't feel like its just draggin on, had just that much more to explain still. By the begining of the third act in inception is where I looked at my phone for the time...just sayyinn
