    With box office, movies are allowed to make money in big markets like China, if they moved to streaming, i highly doubt they can launch the similar trick in China

    i don't get the all these streaming strategy, just how many account you need to subscribe when all studio shifted their content to online? Netflix, amazon, disney plus, HBO max, your monthly subscription fee could end up higher than cinema ticket. Worst of all, you are not free to choose what movie you want to watch

    Using harry potter franchise as a reference, even if DS is the peak of the long running series from here (like how HP1 was the biggest among all franchise), we can expect at least another 5 movies over 20bn yen if every sequel decline from the last. Maybe by the end of 2029, we will DS franchise dominate Japanese box office rank

    With this , large part of New yorker and californian wouldn't be seeing this film on big screen....the two biggest nolan friendly market in the states Domestic number should stop at around 60m

    With 200m sales including those from Taiwan, DS should have already ranked at least number 7 of the 2020 yearly rank, but BOM hasn't acknowledge its existence perhaps they will only include it after USA opening.

    DS is too popular now in Japan that cinema are forced to divide the hall into DS zone and non-DS zone. Also good news from Taiwan, DS did about twd117m opening week, that will be about USD4m. It is already the 3rd biggest Japanese film in Taiwan. Number 1 is YN at about TWD250m total, a figure that DS should have no problem to achieve, IMAX version and dubbed version debut this week.
