AVENGERS ENDGAME | 1939.4 M overseas ● 2797.8 M worldwide
Claudio replied to kayumanggi's topic in International Box Office
You can expect this to be the first movie to hit $30M here in Indonesia if everything goes right. -

CAPTAIN MARVEL | 701.4 M overseas ● 1128.3 M worldwide
Claudio replied to kayumanggi's topic in International Box Office
So it made $53M OS-China on Friday. $85M on friday is great , it could hit $100M on Saturday and then another $65M on Sunday = $295 OS opening. Combined with $150M dom opening then Worldwide could be o/u $450M. I think it could do more though. -
Domestic : 1. Endgame 700 -> the last installment of this current MCU , expect it to increase 2. TLK 670 -> classic animations + nostalgia 3. IX 630 -> TLJ really hurts this , I expect just a tiny decline despite this is the last SW with Skywalker family 4. Frozen 520 -> great trailer + beloved original could boost my number even further 5. CM 380 -> first big movie in a death and dying marketplace + It's MARVEL 6. FFH 360 -> post Avenger could give it a bump from its predecessor 7. Jumanji 350 -> the first one is so huge but lightning doesn't strike twice 8. IT2 340 -> first one was great + barren September 9. TS4 320 -> bland trailer could hurt this movie gross + weak buzz but still great number tho 10. SLOP 300 -> heavy competition + unnecessary sequel could bring this gross less than the first WW : 1. Endgame : $2.15B 2. TLK : $1.75B 3. Frozen : $1.35B 4. IX : $1.3B 5. FFH : $1B 6. CM : $950M 7. Jumanji : $900M 8. TS4 : $870M 9. SLOP 2 : $800M 10. Shazam : $780M

Disney Fox deal expected to close in early next month so by the time this sequels released , would it all be released under Disney ( maybe a new label created by Disney for Fox movies ) or still under the current Fox label given this movies start the production way back then when Fox still a company?

Weekend Thread | Preview #s The Nun 5.4M, Peppermint 750k
Claudio replied to grim22's topic in Numbers and Data
I'm really rooting for this Conjuring Universe! Cause If it crashes and burns then there would be no more horror universe that provides a quality horror chill. All would left is a cheap and Lazy writing horror movies with just a few surprises like a Quite Place. ( nightmare of horror fans ) -
WOOOOOOOO I must say this : for me , that IW breaking the OW record is so special. Much special than TFA was. When TFA opened to $57M on Thursday night , we all already know that it will take the OW record by a large margin. But IW doing it with a great $39M previews but still much less that TFA which create all the doom and gloom in this forum coupled that with low opening Friday prediction from Deadline and others ( $225M OW could be in danger) . But since then , Our gods bless us with their numbers and it keeps going higher for OD ( breaking true Friday record ) and now breaking Sat record by a wide margin. This reminds me of that out of nowhere Record breaking OW by JW but in much bigger and larger scale. And now I just waiting for That 'Congratulations' post from Star Wars division

Well here's my rank for CBM's movie this year ( include Lego ) : 1. Wonder Woman - on par with GOTG 2 but Having Gal Gadot [emoji8][emoji8][emoji7] wins it by a narrowwww margin 2. GOTG 2 - Still fresh and entertaining just like the firstttt 3. Logan - A bit overrated to me given how the other's rate and review for this movie 4. Lego Batman - Joker's motive on making those evil crime was really silly

Great news!!!! Love to see this over performing in Dommm. Really deserved it. Hopefully it keeps maintaining its leg going forward cause it was a really really good movie. Who's agree that Wonder Woman should be a kick off for DCEU? Imagine a lot of goodwill that will be received for future DCEU. Not the earlier movies that somehow left people disappointed and dissatisfied
