    I know, I'm talking strictly on this board. I don't think the Marvel fanbase here is nearly as strong as half a dozen others or so. Though we do have a few very vocal supporters.

    Well ironically on these boards they kind of are. No where near the amount of marvel fans here as say Nolanites, Lawsbians, Potheads, even Ringers, etc. Just goes to show a message board isn't always the best indicator of what the general public likes.

    Frozen had a steeper drop than Tangled's first Wednesday. Everything is going according to my devious plan.

    Fruitvale had better not get nominated for BP with all the options there are this year. It's way too generic of a film.

    What "bad fate" are you talking about exactly? Tangled had amazing legs, and because I'm saying this will have just slightly worse legs judging by its current trajectory, that now means it has a bad fate? Lol, ok then. 260-270m would be an amazing number for it. It's not hitting 300 though, unless it has a way better hold this weekend than Tangled's second weekend, and that would be shocking given how close it's following Tangled's holds so far.

    Then why did it decrease as bad as Tangled's first Tuesday, despite no discount Tuesdays back then? If it had Tangled's 5 day multi it would finish at 273m, and right now it's looking to have a slightly worse multi.

    I really don't think Frozen has the WOM a lot of people are making it out to, and I think that's already starting to show. Good WOM sure, but I highly doubt it has the kind of WOM to hit 300 like many are predicting.

    I expected around a 75% drop for CF and 85% for Frozen, so not surprised.

    Still pulling for Cate to take the Oscar, as much as I love Sandra and Dench's performances too (saw Philomena Saturday, excellent film). Blanchett is just so brilliantly nuanced throughout in Blue Jasmine.

    It's criminal to compare Frozen to the 90's classics, imo. I doubt even the people who liked it will remember it much in a year, let alone two decades from now.
