  1. I wasn't aware of that. Didn't sound like an entire chain from that one quote, but you guys know more about him than I do.
  2. He said "the multiplex".I just want to make it clear I'm not rooting against this movie.
  3. It's still his one particular theater. Just like rallax's. I'd imagine the theater managers at which people are with somewhat empty theaters would have hard numbers showing that trend as well.
  4. It's anecdotal evidence for him too.Btw, you're acting like a 5-year-old with some of these posts.
  5. What is the largest multiplier of a film with an over $85m OW? Just curious.
  6. Isn't this not too far off from where tracking had it? If so, perhaps it was never going to do gangbusters to begin with and Newtown didn't really have that much effect.
  7. ... Nikki and her WTF multipliers. Correct me if I'm wrong but a 37.5 OD wouldn't get anywhere near 100m.
  8. Yeah, the Ignore feature is a good way to weed out the people whom you don't feel positively contribute to a thread. I heart it.
  9. I'm kind of with ddddeeee on this. I don't take it that seriously (aside from a random time or two when I'm in a bad mood and senselessly freak out over nothing for a few minutes.)
  10. I can't stop laughing at 0:17 through 0:24. When his eyes get huge = AA, that damned WOMAN! WOMAN! is my absolute favorite Animal scene.
  11. B, you might remember him from Love Actually. He was the male half of the "movie stand-in" duo.ETA: Now I just decided I want to watch Hot Fuzz tonight. Haven't watched that one in forever. Thanks for the reminder, Shawn.
  12. I didn't even have to watch the video to know he was joking. Just read the headline and laughed.Come on, guys.
  13. Those TV noms are full of WTF. Although, not being a fan of Mad Men I'm kind of giggling. It seems if you're a TV show that doesn't fit neatly into a set genre (drama or comedy) then HFPA hates you. *ahem* GoT & tWD.
  14. Are we saying actors/actresses that are likable/unlikeable or their characters that are?
  15. That's what I thought, but I didn't see them posted in there and figured this wasn't the same as say, the regional critics awards. ETA: Nevermind, I see them in there now. But I still think these belong in a separate post as they aren't the same.
  16. 17. What's really so bad about that movie list aside from 2-3 that should/could interchange with others?Ones that we can probably all (most of us at least) agree should be on (or that we aren't surprised about in the least) and are:SLPArgoLincolnZDTLoPiMoonriseOnes none of us should be too surprised about:DjangoBotSWThe only two questionable ones are TDKR and Les Mis, but are we really that surprised about Les Mis?
  18. Well, technically the BD2 guy didn't try and shoot up the theater. He was thinking about it but had also debated doing it at Walmart instead. But the point still stands.
  19. Biel doesn't have a career. Only reasons people give a crap about her is 1) She has a nice ass and 2) She's Mrs. Justin Timberlake.Which is precisely the reason he's all she talks about in interviews & her PR spoon feeds cutesy stories about them to People Magazine.
  20. Even complaining is silly. It's not like you can do anything about it.
  21. I've seen too many people bitching at blameless employees at jobs I've had. There are way too many people too eager to bitch at the wrong people. It's the American way, Jack. Everything is always someone else's fault and zero common sense is used.
