  1. BH6 has already gained a steady following on Deviantart and Tumblr just like Frozen months before release. That's definitely a good sign!
  2. Mal from Inception was exceptionally captivating though. The perfect foil to Dom. Underrated Cotillard.
  3. Well, the other five are cool (at the worst harmless racial caricatures) but no ways Honey Lemon could have been translated the way she is in the comics to a Disney movie. This ain't Lupin III, MoviePilot.
  4. 1. Avengers: Age of Ultron 2. Big Hero 6 3. Inside Out 4. Birdman 5. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay I 6. Cinderella AKA Complimentary Offer with Frozen short 7. The Book of Life 8. Life After Beth 9. Pitch Perfect 2 10. Ant-Man
  5. But they relish at taking an underestimated existing property and bringing out the undiluted awesomeness of it! It is telling that Cloudy is weaker than Lego and Jump Street. Their Scooby Doo would be insane!
  6. Sometimes evil needs to win to keep the long game interesting.
  7. The Winter Soldier. DoFP had incredibly strong source material as reference and I feel it could have been better given the tremendous pathos of the original story. Also, I'm tired of the constant focus on Magneto/Xavier/Wolverine. Still, credit where credit's due as it turned to be much better than my expectations, especially the treatment of Quicksilver. TWS though! It actually managed to make Captain America a wonderfully likable protagonist for me! Which I thought impossible! Loved the Hydra infiltration plot and the 70's political caper feel. Fury, Widow and Falcon were amazing too. The "quiet moments" between Steve and Natasha were very enjoyable. More interesting characterizations than DoFP.
  8. Somewhere in The Heaven of the Banned, fishnets smiles in satisfaction.
  9. His effort is proportionate to the quality of the script given to him.
  10. Hollywood sucks hard for wasting the cuteness and talent of 90's hotties RLC and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
  11. She spits chewed up food into her unfortunate son's mouth and makes him eat it. Ah, Hollywood Parenting, never change your creepy ways.
  12. To think Sam Raimi originally had her in mind for Mary Jane.
  13. Naah, there definitely were sub-200M predicts for TASM2. But that was more wishful thinking on some haters' parts. Dragon OTOH though.
  14. Yup, Boxtroll's loss will be Book's win. Though will Kaguya manage to qualify this year? If not, then Boxtrolls may still eke out a nom over Song of the Sea.
  15. Really neat. Funny how among the BP winners of the past 15 years or so, it's Argo and Slumdog that have two of the most memorable closing images.
  16. Naah, the lovely Emma and Da Cage ensured The Croods had loads of charm and heart throughout. Definitely more consistent than MU, which someone here rightfully described as a watered down Revenge of the Nerds. It was still leagues better than the stain on humanity DM2 though. That's the only film in this Top 100 whose inclusion irks me. *Sean Penn voice* Shame on everyone of you who voted for it! SHAME ON YOU! /*Sean Penn voice*
  17. Slumdog is LEAGUES better than Crash. Also, it should have been The Dark Knight and not Wall-E as that is easily the more influential movie. I also can't feel for Fargo losing in an obviously weak year where it should have won because the Coens can be so horribly condescending to small towners in their movies. Fargo being no exception. Fuck, the treatment of the Jean Lundegaard character is so shitty. But otherwise I agree with all those choices. Edit: Oh wait, I didn't see the PF diss! And Moulin Rouge! over ABM.
  18. He's as "side" a character as the Iron Giant was a "side" character in The Iron Giant. In fact, I actually think it is the non-Hiro/Baymax characters who play a more supporting role, from everything that I've heard and seen about this.
  19. Wreck-It Ralph. For the sheer diversity in visuals represented by the different games and video arcade locations. Really love the character work in the film too.
  20. They are really fleshing out her storyline as opposed to the books. I doubt she will be sitting out an entire season.
  21. Yes, his previews for DC/Marvel comic events are usually right. Usually. However, in this case, it is reporting much after the occurrence of the events discussed in the article, and involves players like Disney, Disney Animation and Disney Publishing. And when it comes to anything outside of the publishing arms of DC and Marvel, his sources suck.
