Finally a movie that looks good. Besides STID.

Hopefully, unlike Into Darkness, it doesn't underwhelm at the box office. Certainly looks to open big. Given most expect $300M D, would you say Man Of Steel's only a "breakout" if it grosses $350M+ D and $900M+ WW?

Fast Six 110 4-day

HO3 5-day 60 million

St2 45-47 4-day

Epic 45 4-day

Im3 25 4-day

GG 18-4 day

 

300 + memorial day. 

 

 

Looking at the numbers everything apart from HO3 did very well. 

 

 

I think Sat and Sunday holds should be strong for all films as well.

I think Fast Six will do over 30 million today.

Expecting such big numbers overseas for MOS is to much. 

 

SR did 191 million so expectations should be around 400 for MOS.

That's includes all of Thursday's gross, correct? I noticed contradiction in Nikki's projections for Furious 6 with her estimates being $110M holiday and $114.8M total... Thanks in advance, Rth.

If it's at 38M, sans previews it's the same as Fast Five sans previews, which amounts to more admissions as Fast Five had IMAX which Fast 6 doesn't.
