You can't say all markets are equal. If it opened in all the big ones, but only made that much it would be terrible, but all that I know is the only big market it opened in was the UK this weekend. The rest were mid size/small. Context is key here.

Surprised at the UK opening, didn't think we were that into Supes. With the scale of the action there's no reason why MoS can't be huge OS.

Well it depends in what markets it opened... Man of Steel might've opened only in some smaller markets (since the bigger ones are coming next week - Only UK was big this week), while Iron Man 3 would've had the advantage of some bigger markets.
