redfirebird2008
Basically it made $230M after its OW Avengers/TDK type legs after a massive OW are the outliers, not the norm Yeah, just realized TDKR made $288m after opening weekend. I'd be very happy if Man of Steel can make that TOTAL.
ecstasy
400 mill is 400 mill. 2X or 4X it's 400 mill. Oh thank you Baumer.

Goffe
LOL Goffe is having a meltdown. It's my weakness, because I think SM3, along with X3 and SR, are really underrated Edited June 19, 2013 by Goffe

#ED
You really hate it when people talk about IM3 don't you? I didn't like the movie, true. 400M is great. But its shitty multiplier will still be shitty.
Gopher
Competition is irrelevant imo. There is no more competition now than there was in 2007.There's a hell of a lot more competition. Gatsby/Trek/Epic/TH3/FF6 take more screens collectively than Pirates/Shrek. Anyway, IM3 should get a bump thanks to MU this weekend and peter out around 410m. 100m more than IM2. Nothing to moan about.

#ED
I'm not a DC fan btw. I repeat, DC hasn't made a great movie without Nolan since 1992. Nolan > Life.
