ecstasy
Felicity Jones is delightful. I've not seen any of those movies you named but I have seen her in Cheri, Northanger Abbey and a movie with Daniel Craig. I think she has a promising future.Eddie Redmayne has been around for awhile. He is a fantastic actor I've seen him in Savage Grace, The Good Shephard, Tess of the D'urbeviles (sp), The Other Boleyn Girl, Pillars of the Earth. Not sure where his career will take him he's already doing well imo.
CoolioD1
I hope Chris O'Dowd wins. He has a good chance as well. Lots of IT Crowd fans out there.
Noctis
JENNIFER LAWRENCE!
ecstasy
Wait... I didn't know this was the actual nominee list.Jennifer Lawrence for sure. She's on the fast track.
CoolioD1
It's not it's the longlist. It'll be whittled down to five for the actual nominees. And remember it's voted for by the British public, so who knows what those guys like.
ddddeeee
I'd say Lawrence will win. Though Hiddleston has a demented fanbase that live for this sort of thing.

Kind of funny only because everyone in this forum picked Lawrence to win and she didn't even get nominated. CoolioD1
Those are indeed the official nominees. Even if Lawrence had been nominated I don't think she would've won. Not sure her UK fanbase is that big atm. But really it's between Hemsworth, Hiddleston or O'Dowd.
ddddeeee
Hiddleston will win I think.
fishstick
I think Hiddleston too. He`s British and really on the rise.Surprised Cumberbatch didn`t make it. Or is he past rising star and in star category? Edited January 13, 2012 by fishnets

SchumacherFTW
Surprised to see Adam Deacon on the list. Anuvahood is funny and he did a decent job in a few other films, but Rising Star? Strange.
