Why are you comparing him to stars who have been at it for 20, 30 years?

Because a couple of months ago some people said he was bigger than those.

JLaw ain't a draw yet.

You can attribute SLP's gross to its huge legs brought on by great critical/audience reception and awards momentum.

Being a draw is about putting butts in the seat OW. JLaw hasn't done that yet.

Can't we just all agree that Channing Tatum and Jennifer Lawrence are the biggest draws in Hollywood with less than 35 years? And that some day, if they don't fuck their careers, they will be as big as Jolie, Pitt, Depp, Cruise, Downey Jr, Smith and DiCaprio?

Tatum's 2012 films had other reasons for success.

Teh Vow - Romantic film released around  Valentine's Day and had Rachel McAdams of The Notebook fame

21 Jump Street - had funny trailers and had Jonah Hill who is known for doing films like that

Magic Mike - the whole male stripper plot was the main draw to women and it had Matthew McCoughnahey, who is known for starring in many chick flicks

How much success they had because of Tatum is up in the air. I am not revising anything, that is how I always felt
