CJohn
A 25-30% 3D share still justifies the conversion of a movie. Lets not forget how big 3D is in Asia and Latin America.
Impact
The best opening credits actually are films from the 50s/60s. They were pretty awesome.(The Oscars did suggest a best title design cat in the early 2000's, about 50 years too late for that cat!)

MrPink
Damn I was just playing this on my N64 last night. Now i gotta go put the movie on. The theme is just so damn good. It deserved Oscars. The best part about this intro is that I can never look at the New Line Cinema logo in the same way again. Lord of the Rings? Had Techno Syndrome in my head. And any time you have a song in your head over Howard Shore's brilliant LOTR scores means your song is a masterpiece.

reddevil18
Cameron noted recently that films like IM3 and MoS didn't need to be in 3D, so he's obviously conscious of the format falling off a cliff: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/news/a496275/james-cameron-iron-man-3-man-of-steel-didnt-need-to-be-in-3d.html NO movie needs to be in 3D, IMO...
