from what I gather about the plot it might.

Hmm...I just don't think it will.  But I could be wrong and if it were to happen, it would certainly pack a punch to the film, no pun intended.

apparently there were hints from the cinemacon footage that rocky might have cancer in this one. If that's the case this movie will probably destroy me

Dem Feels

I know that Rocky 4 didnt have the critical acclaim of the original and it is a technically inferior movie but I get much more enjoyment watching it than any of the other Rocky movies.

It's just so entertaining, one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen. The music, the montages, the over the top epic fight, Ivan Drago etc.

It's such an 80's movie. I love it.

Oh absolutely.  It's far and away my fave Rocky.

When you shoulder press a wagon filled with family members and your trainer, you are about as awesome as it gets.  Stallone was a God, an absolute GOD in 1985.  Between Rambo II and Rocky IV, you don't get much bigger than that in one year.  Name another actor who had a year like Sly did in 1985.

The officially released movie synopsis hints at something major with Rocky

Adonis Johnson (Jordan) never knew his famous father, world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who died before he was born. Still, there’s no denying that boxing is in his blood, so Adonis heads to Philadelphia, the site of Apollo Creed’s legendary match with a tough upstart named Rocky Balboa.

Once in the City of Brotherly Love, Adonis tracks Rocky (Stallone) down and asks him to be his trainer. Despite his insistence that he is out of the fight game for good, Rocky sees in Adonis the strength and determination he had known in Apollo—the fierce rival who became his closest friend. Agreeing to take him on, Rocky trains the young fighter, even as the former champ is battling an opponent more deadly than any he faced in the ring.

With Rocky in his corner, it isn’t long before Adonis gets his own shot at the title…but can he develop not only the drive but also the heart of a true fighter, in time to get into the ring?

Ok, so the official synopsis hints that Rocky might be dying.  If he dies, I might bawl harder than I did in Marley and Me and Titanic combined.
