acab
That's a really good opening for Prisoners. It will probably have some good legs and reach 70m+.

The Futurist
Great for Wolvie. The movie seems pretty bleak so it is a very good number.

Cmasterclay
For a movie as dark and long as Prisoners is, great it may be, that's a pretty damn great number.
Hatebox
Jake Gyllenhall is slowly but surely becoming a reasonably reliable actor at the box-office.
baumer
Along the lines of what Hatebox says, Gyllenhall has now quietly become an actor that I will see anything he is in. I love his choice of roles and he can bounce between comedy and drama. Edited September 22, 2013 by baumer
Jack Nevada
I think having man candy like Gyllenhaal and Jackman in Prisoners may have helped to bring in female audiences. Edited September 22, 2013 by Jack Nevada

baumer
I Spit 2 was always going to straight to DVD. I've been reading about it on Fangoria for quite a while. ERC even said this morning that it wasn't even on their release docket until earlier in the week. It makes no sense why they put it into theaters.
