better than Da Vinci Code in every way. Also I haven't read the books but the people I know who did prefer the Angels and Demons book over Da Vinci Code as well

Uninvolving, and too earnest for a silly trasure hunt. National Treasure or Hudson Hawk were much more fun!

Da Vinci Code was boring as shit but this movie was pretty good. Anti climactic as hell though

Solid thriller but also very forgettable. The ending is good and pretty tense but you obviously knew though that they weren't gonna destroy the Vatican.  3/5

Unlike Da Vinci Code which was just a chore to sit through, this one is okay. It brings up an interesting view on the conflict between science and religion and Tom Hanks is more likable than before, but it does suffer from the same problem as Da Vinci Code in that it's almost all exposition and little character.

yep, the score is amazing, the movie not being so boring like Da Vinci Code (seriously, I couldn't even finish it) also helps

It's substantially better than Da Vinci Code, which is not saying much for a sequel to one of the worst movies of 2006, but I can't really call A&D good mainly because I have low tolerance for dumb plotting and treasure hunt type of movie. Howard gives his best in years, too bad the material he had to work with was so dreadful. 50/100
