As much as I've been shitting on Inarritu's work his next movie sounds good and not at all misery pornish. It's a comedy with Michael Keaton as a washed-up actor who played a superhero or something.

All due respect to Ray, but I want what he's smokin'.

Ever since he took over BOM, their content IMHO sucked, And he is kind of a douche on twitter too

About Ray-he was not a great admin either, Sean was better.

Also Sean/Brandon actually would add older films when asked, Ray would not.Though I still do have contact with him to tell him that I found a film that is missing under a certain genre or a rating.

Something amusing: 19 years ago, 4 of the 5 nominations for best picture that year (1994) were in the top 10 .

1994 is considered one of the best years ever for cinema.

He would only add stuff that he thought get hits.

IE-he wouldn't add actors/actresses when I asked, but he had pages for Bollywood stars, people with one film, heck even Chris Farley and Tupac have pages.

(Yet when I asked about John Goodman he was considered not popular enough...)

Still he does listen to some of my requests ;)

His email if you ever want to request stuff is rsubers@boxofficemojo.com

I still love that site though ;)

For all the shit The Futurist gives McQueen for making films about misery and suffering I really do think Inarritu is a worse offender. At least when I'm watching one of McQueen's films I understand why it's happening to the characters and it all has a point.

I wasn't a fan of Hunger, but goddamn was that single-shot conversation between Fassbender and Liam Cunningham one of the best scenes of the 2000s, period.
