StarSaber
Wow! Combined 14 sellouts for Frozen. Just 2 theaters (Aliso/Kaleidoscope). 13 for Catching Fire. That's saying something as I rarely ever see these theaters so busy.

lab276
I just love the perfectly symmetrical dichotomy between these two goddess. That does look pretty cool.

StarSaber
IM3 > TDKR by a mile no contest at all IM3 > CF > Catwoman > TDKR > Man of Stilettos predicting a solid $1.1B for CF IM3 = $1.2B CF = $1.1B 1.1 billion for only 2D impresses me more than 1.2 billion for a 3D. Gokai Red
It's weekends like this that remind me why I love watching the box office so much. Records being broken left and right, really big numbers, bets, meltdowns, and I-told-you-sos. I'm really glad I found this board right before this time of the year, because sharing the excitement with others that share this interest makes it all the sweater. It's been a really interesting and fun weekend and I look forward to even more of it in the months and years to come.
Moviefanatic
Let's not get greedy. Anything over 400m is gravy. Agreed. Anything over my original 385 million prediction is gravy for me. Definitely going to crush that.
Fake
Assuming it does 76m this weekend, I have it doing 27-28m next weekend. That puts it on track to 420m finish.

DAR
While I agree that both CF and Frozen should drop to somewhere in the mid-30's next weekend, I wouldn't be surprised if they held somewhat better than expected. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Moviefanatic
I can't wait to see the Nolan and Marvel fanboys enraged when CF beats both IM3 and TDKR. A lot of Marvel fans seem to like CF on these boards.
Spidey Freak
I can't wait to see the Nolan and Marvel fanboys enraged when CF beats both IM3 and TDKR. I am a Marvel fanboy and I couldn't be happier for Katniss. I've seen this coming since last year. Which was why CF's "underwhelming" opening last weekend surprised me a bit. But of course, silly me should have known that every revolution starts with a spark. Edited November 30, 2013 by Spidey Freak
