I thought IM3 was awful while Man of Steel was a perfectly entertaining summer blockbuster. Hence, I voted for MoS

Both have terrible screenplays but both enjoyable moments. I consider both films to be equal. Each film gets a B- from me.

My one issue with MoS was that I did not see Superman winning the fight in the end till he, well, just suddenly did.

 

Cinematically the fight was pumped up as Superman vs Someone Stronger than Superman.

Then all of a sudden Superman overpowers him after getting his ass kicked for a while. I wish there some moments which reflect on how he gathers his emotional strentgh/physical strength/motivation to turn the tables. This happened in a couple of fights which left me a little underwhelmed.

 

I gather from teh intehnets that in the books, they are always evenly matched physically, with Superman managing to win only by being smarter.

One of these VS threads, which I think baumer started, got options of "I hate them equally" and "I like them equally." I think these two should be included in every VS thread, cause there are really a lot of them that you just can't decide which one you love or hate more.
