Weekend #s | SAT (12.28.2013) 10.5 M TH: TDOS | 09.7 M - 10.0 M FROZEN | 07.4 M AM ll | 07.2 M AH

Nope, biggest ever (at least since 82)

Also, Frozen and CF combined will comprise between 32-33% of the Holiday period.

Frozen itself will have a bigger share than some of the #1's from some years.

THG also has the record for the Spring share (22.3%). Now all they have to do is split Mockingjay into 3 instead of 2 and conquer the other seasons  :P

Cryptic Nikki is cryptic

This is when I lose the will to live in the holiday box office cycle by nightly repeating the same Top 10 with small adjustments.

What does "small adjustments" mean? same position, different numbers? similar numbers, swapping positions? alas, we'll never know...Unless..

This. I have a sick curiosity when it comes to those things. Like now, I am about to go on YT to find what incarnadine is talking about with those other two, lol.

Here's the malarchuk one, but I can't recall who it was or what team the soccer one was from.

Saturday Dec 28 Box Office: Back at #1 is 'Hobbit 2 Smaug' with $10.5M. #2 even after 6 weeks in release 'Frozen' $9.7M-$10M.

-Nikki Finke

DoS early estimates have been below studio estimates every single time since it's release.
