Wow. Some big but not surprising drops. They do seem slightly bigger than using usual post holidays (wonder if all the different football over the weekend impacted grosses more than usual) MM -46% IO -65% Minions -67% JW -63% Normally it's in the mid to high 50's or 2 drops of 50%. Seems high to me. Updated projected totals: JW 53m (54m will now take excellent holds from here) Minions 32.5m Inside out 31m

There was a shitload of football across the weekend in all 4 codes.  Suncorp in Brisbane had 50,000 for football on Friday, 37,000 for rugby union on Saturday and 37,000 on Sunday for rugby league.
