Where did you get the Ralph OW? I had been searching and searching and couldn't find it.

I got it here (#hashtagRth): http://forums.boxofficetheory.com/index.php?/topic/141-australian-box-office-boxing-day-th-bofta-559m-bh6-13m-natm3-11m-water-deviner-864k/page-135

Australia typically reports four day weekend grosses and not three day weekend grosses, so I'm not sure if this $4 million figure for WIR represents a four day, i.e., Thursday to Sunday OW, or a Friday to Sunday OW. WIR opened on a Wednesday, so they could report a four day OW gross whereas BH6 opened on a Friday, so they can only report a three day OW gross at best.

If that $4 million figure represents a four day OW gross for WIR, then BH6 (which grossed $3.7 million over three days) is probably outpacing WIR slightly.

U got it right.

WIR made a 4m OW (4 day) and about 5.2M including Boxing Day (which fell on the Wednesday that year. ). It also made about 1.2m in previews I believe the weekend before Christmas.

So in sum WIR was a 4m OW and 6.4m running total. (Including the 1.15m opening day - Boxing Day))

Bh6 has had a reasonable start but remember while the weekends are close WIR had already burnt off 2.4m of demand before the weekend. Hence why I am a little dissappointed by it. And I think bh6 may struggle to reach 20m. Especially with penguins opening on New Year's Day.

I have no numbers on me, but from how insanely busy it was at work today we could see some big numbers. Obviously it is cheap tuesday so the average ticket place is much lower, but we were about 15-20% up from boxing day admissions.

That sounds huge

I don't understand this bloody city. It's hot during the day, yet at night the winter gear needs to come out.

lol... you do live in sydney ;)

at least in brisbane it stays hot all the time :dbz:   and then you just live in aircon

$ wise BOFA tues end up probably just slightly down on Monday but clearly more Admits, all films sydney tues was 60% of boxing day but Melbourne was 80% of Boxing day(on par with Sat) nationally Tues was 70% of Boxing Day

<_< That is chilly? We will have -22-25C for NYE.

Its more the sudden changes from 45C to 13C in a matter of hours which gets people. We don't really get cold ever, it usually gets down to 2-3C on a winters night and 13-15C on a summers night. Though some nights in summer can go as high as 30C.
