The 3 new films debut in the first 3 positions as expected, now I really want to know why La Befana 2 had to randomly open two days before them... A really bad choice

 

Regarding Spider Man it held the top spot for 17 days in a row and it's a very good result. Today and tomorrow it should be fourth but as the weekend numbers also include Friday it should still be in the top three since the new entries have one day less

I was watching on Lumiere the number of tickets sold by the previous Spider Man movies and it's quite impressive: 4 million for the first, 3.6 million for the second and 3.1 million for the third

 

I don't think No Way Home will able to pass any of them, and adjusted for the current average price they would be at 28, 25 and 22 million. Adjusted instead for the price of No Way Home they would be even higher and the first on par with Joker

Spidey did better than what I was hoping for and has grossed €20.257m (~= 23m USD)

FRI - 156k (-54%)

SAT - 387k (+148%)

SUN - 490k (+27%)

No Way Home was surprisingly able to win its third weekend (like Infinity War and better than Endgame, which lost to Detective Pikachu), the gross by week is now 11M in the first, 5M in the second and 4M in the third. Infinity War and Endgame (but also Far From Home) grossed about 1M in their fourth week, but this time we have 6th January which should help a little

 

Now that it has passed the first 3 Spider Man and Infinity War, but also the 20 million target, I think the next goal is to reach the 3 million tickets sold. Considering that the price seems to be continuing to increase (but maybe Cinetel is simply forgetting to update the data...), it will be necessary to reach a total of about 22.5 million, since one ticket is about 7.5 euros

That is a good marketing strategy. Why they dont do that? It will be stupid if missing that opportunity

That's a really good question, maybe they are waiting a little longer but I don't really know. If anyone here has Reddit they could try asking there (I deleted my profile a couple of months ago 🤷🏻‍♂️)
