Scary to think DWA could yet have another big flop.No wonder a fifth Shrek is in the works.

Who does the marketing for DWA, now? Does Fox handle that? Because the presence of the advertising seems way down from when Paramount distributed.

J-Katz needs to muster up a little magic.

He just has to find another struggling animation studio with a long and successful history to make fun of... maybe he could just spin off another company and start making fun of DWA? :P

2.5X gives it 150.

Yeah, but it probably wouldn't have that kind of multiplier. Seems like the kind of movie destined to drop 60% second weekend, no matter where it opens. "Front-loaded" is the word of the day.

You're just pulling 60% out of thin air.  Why would it drop that much?

Doubt it.  The last one performed massively internationally.

It still made less than the third worldwide.

It has been 4 years since the last Shrek movie. I doubt as many people care about the series now.

Disney Princess movies have made a huge comeback, while Shrek has become more and more irreverent. Shrek4 was down 100M DOM from Shrek3. Eat THAT Dreamworks!
