Not sure if Van Nuys is one of them. Tele would know he lives out there. Oh and I saw you mention fish fry a while back. That's definitely not a Cali thing. The couch gag was good.Cousin Marcus: it was alright, nothing special.Gf Maddie: good, not comedy of the year, but alright.Her mom Anita: it wasnt great. I asked her if it was funnier than Ride Along, she said "nope. And i think they gave away too much in the trailer." (Ive showed her all of them). I think they all would agree on RA being funnier, and I probably will after seeing it tomorrow. Happy to see a huge opening, but this isnt reaching Ted levels, im seeing too many people just "alright" with it.That's why you don't watch all the trailers. I stopped watching trailers for comedies a while back. That was honestly the easiest thing to quit. Those guys were great, they'd stop by to pay their rent and give us boxes of porn. Downstairs there was an online porn company. They'd pay their rent late...also gave us porn. So..... yeah. Van Nuys is where they make the porn right? Used to be. Now all these areas that used to be Van Nuys wanted an image change, so they split off into unincorporated neighborhoods that sound more elite and special: Valley Village, Valley Glen, Lake Balboa, etc. But porn these days is in Chatsworth... actually, now it's in Simi Valley since LA County voted to mandate condom usage on sets. I didn't see a single trailer for This Is The End and it was glorious!I showed her the two redbands on youtube, but one of them came out in September so i doubt she remembered it, so shes really only watched the newest one, plus whatever trailer aired in front of RA, but I agree. She still wouldve said the same thing, but I personally cant help but watch all trailers, even comedies.Ive never went to a movie blind, and I dont think I ever could. I just need to see what im supposed to be getting excited about. I dont watch the same one multiple times though. And I dont watch clips and online tv spots, thats overkill. Sony.Maybe one day I can go blind, but I doubt it, im just always anxious.
