Morieris
This entire thing...in an attempt at fairness, does Iger talk to his predecessor? Does anyone talk to Eisner?

Iger has openly stated that he would speak with Eisner throughout his tenure. More at the beginning than the end, but yes they spoke often. Iger was basically Eisner's last defender at the company and his closeness with Eisner was 100% held against Iger during his CEO interview process. He needs to stay at the parks while someone who has deep connections with Hollywood takes over. They need to go with Peter Rice

Porthos
Quote As Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill into law on Monday, The Walt Disney Company issued a statement vowing to help repeal the controversial legislation. “Florida’s HB 1557, also known as the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, should never have passed and should never have been signed into law,” the statement reads. “Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national and state organizations working to achieve that. We are dedicated to standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country.” Disney’s public opposition to the law follows an employee walkout in protest of CEO Bob Chapek’s mishandling of the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. filmlover
Team Disney! We all know who really holds the most power in this state. Meanwhile, in DeSatan World: DeSantis drops the hammer on Hollywood for their criticisms of Florida at the Oscars last night: "If the people who held up degenerates like Harvey Weinstein as heroes are opposing us on parents rights, I wear that like a badge of honor."#RETWEEET pic.twitter.com/GgPQE2fTNq — Kayleigh Kennedy (@KayleighK_Q) March 28, 2022 You sure you wanna go there, Ron's Gone Wrong? Disney can realistically pull it's film production from Georgia and move it...wihich they can't really do with Disneyworld. Of course that Moron COngress creature Marjorie Taylor Green from Gerogia has said she wants Disney and Hollywood out of Georgia since they are corrupting it. DeSantis is a total ass hat, and IMHO if Trump does not run or is indicted, he is a heavy favorite to get the GOP nod, God help us.
