sorry but that number for X-Men seems like complete and utter bullshit. That would give it one of the best holds of any summer blockbuster ever, let alone one coming from an inflated Memorial Day opening. Even in the 90s, Memorial Day openers dropped 50%

It does not matter who wrote the article, the numbers are coming from idiots working for the studios. It's the same reason you always see such inaccurate stuff from Nikki. She and the others just report what the studios give them. We have hard data from Spatula that suggests there is no way in hell it makes $15m today, never mind $50m for the weekend.
