Not really, it cost $50m, plus a summer release date isn't cheap. It's going to make $40m tops domestically.

UrosepsisFace
I thought the movie was alright, but nothing really spectacular. I hope it does well just so we can have more variety.

It deserved to do better. Pretty much hit the nail on the head here.
shayhiri
Glorious movie!! Seeing it at least twice. I like being reminded how smart I am, compared to the general population (which happens when I watch Shane Black comedies). PS: When I watch Transformers or some other "funny" sh!t, I get reminded how dumb the general population is, compared to me. Which isn't actually the same thing like the above sentence - and it doesn't feel good at all. Edited June 3, 2016 by shayhiri
antovolk
Does anyone know how much the international rights were pre sold for? Trying to get a sense of how it's doing and whether it's enough to get a sequel
Spidey Freak
Wow, another insanely fun Shane Black caper. I'm starting to really dig Black's particularly unique combo of aesthetics and themes.

shayhiri
Seriously, who is your favourite bro-team? I'm really going with the Nice Guys, after I've seen it a couple of times. (let's also not forget the girl duo in Heat - Sandra and Melissa) Edited June 14, 2016 by shayhiri
Arlborn
I sadly haven't watched The Nice Guys yet but I expect to really enjoy it. So, from those, Rush Hour and Lethal Weapon for me.
