Another reason for general box office discussion boredom is that there is no big bomb for the summer on the horizon either. The one movie with a budget big enough that it could have bombed has been moved out of summer.

 

No big hits + no breakouts + no big bombs = boredom on the boards.

Hercules has a reported budget between 100-110M. Not exactly mega bomb territory. It just needs to clear 200M WW, and if Immortals could do 200M, I don't see why Hercules cannot, especially if it can get a China release.
