It does matter since it is a sign of it holding well. Yes it won't hit $130m, but this bodes well for it hitting $100m which is important for this film.

Yeah, I believe so. You definitely don't get more fan-driven than a comic book movie (or YA novel adaptations), that's for sure. And considering the horrid legs of Godzilla as compare to its OW, can't beat the fan rush factor of that either. Edited June 25, 2014 by Sam

Yes. Other TF had average presales. The die hard TF fanbase isn't as big as those for comic book films
