Well, PRINCESS BRIDE is a sweet little fable. It's like BABE or something. If you get overhyped by it, sure, I can see how you might be disappointed. But it's very charming, and in its own little way, very clever.

I guess - to each his own I have seen it over a dozen times now (wife's favorite film) and I am still waiting for it to grow on me.

I thought Gary Oldman did fine. He just didn't have much screentime.

 

I really wasn't bothered by Oldman's Performance in the movie at all.

I thought Gary Oldman did fine. He just didn't have much screentime.

 

Probably because from the look of the trailers he was chewing up so much scenery it was best to keep him off set as much as possible.

Also, I don't think Apes is going to be insanely frontloaded (at least not by most standard summer franchise blockbusters). Wouldn't be surprised if it stays flat or increases on Saturday.

The box office war between The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avatar 2 is probably going to be massive.

I'm not sure this will have great legs with GA.  Most of the movie is fairly slow paced and they cared more about the script than action/spectacle.
