Did it get any double features anywhere? I know some places had Guardians w/Planes 2. At least at Blankments Drive in.

Someone mentioned that it did in some place.

I think Disney spread the love around to all 3 films.

Hmmm, interesting how it's the same shit that goes down with people who have $2 on the Maury Povich show

Now Now, Don't be coming for the Queen. She didn't participate in that mess. she was quietly meditating in the corner.

She's the only one related to both of them.

Seriously, trying to aggrandize that embarrassing shit by placing a billion $ tag on it is a serious fail.

Sequel time for Dragon and 22JS. Fault already had his sort of sequel announced and with a date.

This is really bugging me right now. I swear I saw a release date announcement on here or some other forum, with a title, which included "Part 1" in it or something. But now I can't find it. It's not on BOM either. So was this some joke, or am I hallucinating, or what?Yeah, I no longer have any doubt that HTTYD3 will happen. Only questions are how far it gets pushed back from Dory's date, whether the studio execs are going to try to push it to be "lighter" and temper the weighty stuff due to this one underwhelming, and, in turn, whether the final result will be a Return of the Jedi to HTTYD2's Empire Strikes Back. Same could be said with the naked women running around in so many films. One of the biggest offenders would have to be X-Men First Class.

Seriously what? I don't think anyone was looking at mystique as a sex object, the whole idea of her back story was that she felt like an ugly monster, you're making out that they were glamouring her. If anyone was a sex object in the Xmen franchise, it was Hugh jackman

I don't need to relate to anyone either. I just get sick of some random shot of a chick undressing herself down to her underwear. Star Trek 2 last year was particularly eye rolling with that shit.

It's not like chris pine didn't pointlessly have his shirt off in those movies too remember. And I found Zod Saldana to be a great character in both movies.

I was referring to first class but in Xmen 1-2 they used her sex appeal as part of her skills. She was able to manipulate dumb men by being sexy, nothing wrong with that, though she did have a thing for Wolverine but then again, who doesn't. I'm straight and even I have a thing for Wolverine lol Edited by jessie

So adding in TMNT, that's probably the top 15 of the summer, though the final order will be quite different.

It still boggles the mind that this opened to $90M+ (even if it's a part of a much bigger cinematic universe) and has a legit shot at being the largest movie of the entire summer. That would make this the first time in history the biggest movie of the summer was an August release, right?
