don't pull at all then

this movie doesn't interest me at all..I have nothing against it or nothing good to talk about it..so I'm neutral here

I'm not that keen to see it compare to the other movies I've seen this year but it's a kind of movie I love to see in theatre so I'm going to give it a chance. Plus I don't take anyone's words on the movies I haven't seen so the RT scores or bad WOM never effect me.  :)

Transformers dropping another 70% this weekend. Dem theater losses are killing it. At least 1b is hit already.

I don't think Paramount give a damn about it any more since the ridiculous theatre losses in the past couple of weeks. -_-

why?

The movie was such a damn handjob to it's target audience, the hardcore Christians who view atheism as cancer. Pretty much every atheist or person of other religion was portrayed as a major league asshole, while the Christians were just the little cherubs with no unremarkable qualities whatsoever.

There's always two sides to a debate. The makers of God's Not Dead completely ignored that notion.

I already seen I drove to downtown. But I have friends and family that are waiting to see when it gets closer. Most people don't drive 30-40 minutes to see a movie.

Well it's a Christian movie that's a fictional story, so there's no need for a debate - its main goal is to entertain/preach to the choir. If you don't like the film, then don't watch it or talk about it. Anyone expecting realistic atheists in the vast majority of Christian movies is just having too high of expectations. Their audience is conservative Christians and it makes them money (God's Not Dead grossed $60 million DOM) so why show the opposing side? Sad but true. Kevin Sorbo's character sounds like someone angry at God rather than a true atheist.

But plenty of Hollywood movies depict Christians as self-righteous, hateful bigots. As far as overtly putting one religion in a negative light, it goes both ways.

Good jump. 64.5% despite losing almost 10% of theaters. Expecting a nice bump today.77.6% jump. :). Good to see its finding its audience. I saw this movie last weekend. Easy going movie. Not exactly as much good porn as Chef but still a nice movie to watch.

Average per theater is down only 37.5% from last week (1880/3012)

I've spoken to three different sets of parents who took their kids to see Turtles. They said they liked it fine enough but their kids loved it. I know this is hard for some to grasp.

It's not hard to grasp that kids love TMNT, I mean they're what propelled shit like Maleficent to success this summer.Kids inherently have poor tastes in movies, they care more about masses of color moving quickly on the screen with simple fart based humor. It's really not hard to make a movie that'll please a kid.
