I thought Mother's Day was made by a major studio-not Open Road (or as I like to say probably will soon be closed road), and thought it was wider, I'll lower my predict for that for sure now.

Though it does have appeal with middle age women-then again the amount that wanted to see Mom's Night Out didn't help (most didn't want to see films on there opening weekend)

I don't know what to make of it. The other movies by the same director made a lot of money on opening weekend. And the actors in it are famous. Dunno.

That's true-I thought Paul Rudd was in it for some reason but it was someone else.

 

Ratchet and Clank started advertising too late it seems. (Plus most family films anyway parents rather watch later then its ow)

Of the three wide-release films next week the only one I've seen even a trailer for is Mother's Day.

 

And the Garry Marshall Holiday Series has become such a punchline that I can't see that one doing well either. It would have done better three years ago.
