Jay Beezy
Film theory predicts: Ouija - 26M John Wick - 16M Curious as to what theory you're utilizing for Wick. If it follows the trend of fellow recent October R-rated action release Escape Plan, it could see 30m.

mahnamahna
Film theory predicts: Ouija - 26M John Wick - 16M That's actually some solid predicts this week. I guess they're right twice a year really, what I would expect for both. Of course, October 31 is going to be a BO wasteland if both open under $25 million. Then BH6 and Interstellar manage to gross $140-160 million combined the following weekend
spatulashack
The legend spatula is here. Any Friday numbers? It's still early but: Ouija matinees are essentially identical to Carrie at this point John Wick looks strong right now and is nearly doubling Ouija matinees but that is to be expected since Ouija is a teen horror/thriller and won't start taking off until late in the day.

kitik
Haha...it will LIKELY unseat Fury. Fury would have to drop 10-15% to remain number one. You're assuming that Ouija is locked for 20M. Fury could drop to about $16M and still potentially be #1.

CJohn
I had Ouija at a 15-17M OW since forever, until last Thursday where I changed my prediction to 22M. I should have stuck with my gut instinct.
